Our Vision
Equipping every generation to reach the next generation...
Our church is less than a mile from 20,000 students and about 90 percent of them have no real understanding of the gospel. What could happen if a church not only reached them, but sent them as missionaries all over the world? How do we do this? We do this by investing in the next generation to welcome them, equip them, and send them to Boone and Beyond. What could happen if we, by faith, asked God to send 1,000 missionaries out of Perkinsville Church? That’s exactly what we must do! Below are just a few of the goals that we are pursuing to support a
God-sized vision like Boone & Beyond:
Kingdom Generation Ministries. From birth to graduation, we have to be intentional about what we are investing in kids and students. We must see these ministries as mission.
Local and global partnerships. We recognize that strong partnerships help create and sustain a sending a culture. By focusing our missions efforts on strategic partners in the U.S. and internationally, we can give church members and students real opportunities to do real ministry while they learn locally.
Residencies and internships. We want to give missionaries and church planters a structured place to serve while they are still in school. These residencies and internships will put students in a place of ministry responsibility alongside their education for 1 – 3 years before they mobilize to where God is calling them.
